The Fundamental Symbiosis
For my project The Fundamental Symbiosis, I explore the place of human beings within the living world. Through stoneware sculptures infused with surreal and science-fictional universes, I challenge traditional forms and established standards of beauty.

Using clay as my primary material and diving into deep introspection, I invite the viewer to enter a dreamlike world populated by chimeras and fantastical beings. My sculptures draw inspiration from imaginary peoples of a distant past, living in perfect symbiosis with their environment. In this way, I create a new mythology to inspire the present through a whimsical vision. What I present to the world resembles an archaeological discovery—fragments of human stories as if unearthed from another world.

The Transhuman works evoke human presence on Earth and its constant evolution. These hybrid ghostly beings are clad in pure platinum attire, achieved through the third firing method, paying homage to the many ancestral customs unique to humankind.

The Lava sculptures embody terrestrial power and the volcanic material that springs forth from it. These frozen beings represent to her the depths of the earth but also the darkness of the unconscious within us. The black obtained by the mixture of several layers of black enamels is deep and organic, seeming to be in constant turmoil.

My characters, rooted in the earth, seem to explore another world, but their quest remains mysterious: is it an external or internal world, infinitely small or infinitely large? Their silvered adornment reflects light, symbolizing a spiritual awakening and paying homage to human rituals of ornamentation with precious materials extracted from the depths of the earth.
I invite the viewer to merge with the material, to feel the desire to touch and interpret it, thus creating an immersive sensory and intellectual experience.
My work portrays a universe where the boundaries between human and nature blur, where the real and the imaginary harmoniously intertwine. It is a world where forms metamorphose and natural elements come to life, offering a poetic and transcendent vision of our existence.
